Little White Lies Agents Might Tell You to Get Your Business

The real estate business is a business full of sharks, so watch out. There are many things an agent may say to win your confidence, some of them out right lies, and some of them may be a little more subtle. Just remember, in the end, the agent wants your money, just like everyone else, and integrity goes a long way in this business.

Check this little white lie out, for example:

1. “I think I have a buyer for your house.” In an initial listing appointment, agents frequently hint that they have a potential buyer for the home… But that’s not a good enough reason to give the guy your listing; if he really has a buyer, he’ll show your house even if you list with someone else.
