Foreclosures are Declining

March 23, 2011

CNN has reported some interesting foreclosure numbers (among other things) recently:

The number of foreclosure notices filed in February dropped 14% compared with a month earlier and 27% compared with a year earlier, according to RealtyTrac.

This is some encouraging news, especially when couple with the fact that home prices are still on the decline. The market is correcting itself, and if there was ever a time to be buying real estate, it would be now.

Think about it, some of the lowest mortgage rates ever, combined with low home pricing make for some incredible deals to be had, and even if you have to rent them for a little while before you sell them, you stand to make a great deal of profit. Just remember the magic pill of real investing, and you’re on your way.
