I had never thought about doing this, but I saw Craig Rutman (a realtor in North Carolina) give a cool gift to some recent clients of his. It was a video of the construction progress of the home, with nice pictures, music, and the happy new owners (removed for privacy purposes) as the house was built.
This is a really simple, yet genius idea. There is a further connection and friendship made with his clients, which I am sure will create referrals and new opportunities that he might have missed out on, had he not done it.
He further leveraged that idea by putting the edited version on youtube, and blogging about it on ActiveRain.com. Pretty smart. More exposure laced with goodwill for potential clients.
So what’s the point?
If you can do a little extra for your clients to make them even happier with the process, you can expect to reap more benefits!
