7. Ask for feedback, and make sure to listen to them.
In order to assess fully how well your business is doing, you should always ask for feedback. Include questions whether they’ll recommend your services to friends and acquaintances as word of mouth is still the best form of advertisement.
In case you’ve received a bad review, try to probe further into the matter. Learn why they feel that way, and try to make amends the next time to prevent something like it from happening again.
It is easy to neglect this step in your real estate business. You are excited by your new client, or you are discouraged that the prospect is not responding the way you hope, and you just let them go without getting any feedback. Make it a point to ask the client or prospect to fill out a short survey. If they are in person, you can have pre-printed response cards ready to go for this, if by email, use SurveyMonkey to build a survey, and send them the link by email.
Either way, using a system to ensure that you ask each and every person that contacts you is a great way to probe into your market, and find out what people like, don’t like, and want so that you can adjust your marketing accordingly.
